Bohemian F.C. in Dublin 7 has announced a collaboration with Oasis, unveiling a new 2025 FAI Cup jersey design featuring the group's iconic logo.
As Ireland's oldest football club and a 100% fan-owned not-for-profit, Bohemian F.C. has become almost as known for their limited jersey drops as their impassioned fans and thriving community, with recent designs like a collaboration with Fontaines D.C.'s Carlos O'Connell raising funds for Medical Aid for Palestinians.
Now the club has paid homage to one of music's most influential bands and "two of Ireland's most favourite sons", the club says.
All profits from the jersey will be divided between the club itself, which is fan-owned and community-run, and two charities, the club said.
50 percent will by used by Bohemian F.C. to help develop "the club's pioneering work across its football and community activities", while the other 50% will be split "25% to Music Generation Ireland, to allow disadvantaged kids across Ireland access music and 25% to Irish Community Care Manchester (ICCM), for their amazing work with the Irish community in the city".
The latter portion will honour the Irish and Traveller communities in Greater Manchester, including "older people, families, the homeless, and some of the most vulnerable Irish across Greater Manchester", the club said.
"Today, it is estimated that 33% of the population of Manchester is Irish or of Irish descent", they added.
No proceeds will go to Oasis for their partnership and support of this project.
The jersey features the iconic Oasis logo in the traditional blue shades of Dublin City, with a 90s styling and sublimated chevron. The design was created in-house by the club in collaboration with Oasis and is manufactured by O'Neill’s Sportswear Ireland.
The club also released a slick advert promoting the jersey, which featured a special cameo by Paul Weller.
Speaking about the design, Daniel Lambert, COO of Bohemian F.C. said: "We are delighted to unveil this jersey today following lots of work with the Oasis over the past six months, special thanks to Noel and Liam for supporting this. To be able to work with Oasis and design a new iconic shirt that will reach fans around the world is special.
"And to once again have funds going towards such worthy causes, that will assist thousands of people across Ireland and Manchester, is brilliant. As a fan-owned football club and a not- for-profit entity, the impact on Bohemian FC will be significant and we are most grateful for the support."
