Running since 1977, the Brit Awards aim to showcase and celebrate the best of the UK music industry with annual awards, live performances, and an outrageous red carpet.

Tonight's show looks to be no different as the ceremony is set to welcome a star studded guest list with performances from Adele, Anne-Marie + KSI, Ed Sheeran, Little Simz, Sam Fender, and Liam Gallagher.

Held in the glamorous setting of the O2 Arena and hosted by comedian Mo Gilligan, taking over the mantle from fellow funny man Jack Whitehall, it's sure to be a dazzling event with even more dazzling performances on the night.

The most eagerly anticipated appearance is undoubtedly Adele, with the songstress set to take the stage for what will surely be a stunning performance.

She looked equally stunning on the red carpet in a dramatic black full-length gown by Armani Privé, with a sweeping plunge neckline, hemmed with sheer black tulle that fell in a train behind her.

Also strutting their stuff on the red carpet were stars like Ed Sheeran, who arrived in a daring electric blue velvet suit by Etro. He paired this with a dark blue-hued paisley tie, white shirt and black shoes.

Our own Laura Whitmore shone especially bright – literally and figuratively – on the red carpet, stepping out in a dazzling Magda Butrym mini dress and graphic glitter eyes makeup.

Wearing an 80s-inspired little black dress with silver studs and a cut-out on the bust, she added some drama with chunky glitter layered on her eyes.

Maya Jama ensured all eyes were on her, as the presenter arrived in a racy two-piece by Mônot. Featuring a skimpy crop top and a cut-out maxi skirt, it gave grown-up Flintstones vibes, and we were here for it. She paired this with a black furry stole and glittering silver heels.

Holly Humberstone, winner of the Rising Star prize, arrived looking every inch the star in a gothic black lace and fur ensemble by Gucci. Paired with dainty jewellery and black platform heels, it was a bold look.
