Model, cookbook writer, presenter and all round babe, is there anything Roz Purcell can't do? We can add sustainable style queen to the list, as over the past few months Roz has been vocal about the changes she's made to her life, and especially when it comes to clothes.

Just last month she shared that she no longer buys anything new, choosing instead to shop second hand and vintage. Speaking at the time, she said: "I guess there's a misconception that influencers have to live this fast fashion life - we don't. I stopped buying fast fashion a while ago and I don’t feel the need to have a new outfit every single post."

And last night she stepped out in a truly stunning and sustainable look, instantly becoming our party fashion inspiration.

Taking to her Instagram Stories, the presenter said that she would be attending the Sunday Independent Inspiration Awards 2019 in an old gown that she had upcycled. Showing the piece of gold shimmery fabric she had bought to change up her long black dress, it was clear that sticking to something sustainable was important to her.

Her finished look proved that you don't need something new to wow at a glamorous event. The dress featured a fitted bodice, long fish-tail train and thigh-high slit, as well as one black shoulder strap. The gold fabric was added in as a statement strap, tying in a bow over one shoulder and adding a pop of colour to her otherwise slinky black gown.

Finished with a smokey eye look, glossy lip and her trademark tresses worn down and loosely curled, Roz looked truly breathtaking.

The choice was incredibly fitting, as Roz was at the ceremony to present an award for inspiration in environmental change. It just goes to show, you don't have to sacrifice style for sustainability.
