Last night's episode saw couples waltz, rhumba and cha-cha-cha to songs that held special meaning for them, making for some hilarious, touching and nostalgic trips down memory lane for everyone watching.
After what must have been an already emotional night for many, the inevitable elimination - during which Darren Kennedy and his professional dance partner Karen Byrne, the reigning champ, left the competition - was particularly poignant.
Embodying the light, fun and classic theme of the night, host and RTÉ broadcaster Jennifer Zamparelli descended the gilt staircase dressed in a shimmering kimono-style mini dress and gold heels. With just a deep pink lip, gold glittery eyeshadow and her hair curled and sleeked to perfection, she looked every bit the glamourous host she is.

The pale pink dress was a change from the vampy blacks and reds we've seen Zamparelli rock the last few weeks, but this is Dancing With the Stars and a sequin is never far away. Her signature style shone through in the punchy gold, pink and blue sequins adorning the gorgeous gúna.
Elsewhere, Nicky Bryne was suited and booted in a dashing ensemble by Moss Bros.

After two weeks in distinctly pricier threads, Jennifer's dress was much more afforable. DWTS stylist Clémentine MacNeice plucked for a dress from ASOS DESIGN, which is currently on sale, reduced from €89.06 to €35.95.
Paired with sleek gold stiletto heels, Clémentine kept the look light and refined, with the pale and shimmery colours giving Jennifer a distinctly angelic look.
