Our very own Saoirse Ronan has made her debut on the cover of the August edition of the fashion-Bible, Vogue.
Her autumnal coloured turtleneck outfit was styled by Camilla Nickerson.
Saoirse is one of the few Irish people to ever appear on the cover of Vogue. Ethiopian-Irish actress Ruth Negga held the coveted position in 2016 at the height of the Oscars buzz.
Saoirse's 73 question interview with Vogue while packing for a trip to Ireland, revealed lots about the American-born, Irish-raised, London-living, actress.
Did you know...
- Saoirse is trying to keep up her French.
- She'd love to go to India.
- She prefers the window seat on the plane.
- Her worst habit is biting her nails.
- Saoirse does, in fact, do her own stunts on set.
- She prefers tea over coffee and always with milk.
Speaking about her fondness for visiting Ireland. She claims to come home as often as she can. What she misses most about Ireland? The craic (but not the drug - the fun, she confirms).
She credits her Mother for being a great plus one at awards ceremonies. And her favourite outfit she's ever worn was the pink Calvin Klein dress she wore on the Oscars red carpet.
Best piece of advice she ever got?
'Be nice to everyone,' and 'make your own tea on set.'
