The world has finally seen the most talked about wedding dress of the year - here are the details on Meghan Markle's stunning wedding dress.
The anticipation of seeing Meghan step out of the car before marrying Prince Harry was met with huge exciting when the crowds saw the beautiful Los-Angeles born bride-to-be.
The Dress
She looked absolutely stunning in the Givenchy gown by creative director Clare Waight Keller. The dress is a perfect example of simple, timeless, elegance. Meghan paired it with equally minimalist jewelry which only highlights the Queen Mary diamond bandeau tiara that was made in 1932 and was lent to her by the Queen.

The silk Givenchy wedding dress has a15ft veil embroidered with flowers of the Commonwealth. Meghan's hair was styled by Serge Normant and her make-up was done by her friend Daniel Martin.
The Fashionable Engagement
Prince Harry and Meghan were engaged on November 27th, 2017. To commemorate the occasion, the couple had their photo take by New York-based fashion photographer Alexi Lubomirski on the grounds of Frogmore House, Windsor.
While Harry looked handsome in Burberry, it was Meghan's £56,000 Ralph and Russo dress that set the rumour mill in motion - who would the American actress choose to wear while walking down the aisle?
Inspiration for the dress?
Meghan who along with Harry will now be known as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, had previously said that the wedding dress worn by Caroline Bessette when she married John F Kennedy Jr as "'everything goals".
Comparing the two dresses there are similarities in the sleek, elegant, simplicity of both.
People are having a ball on social as they watched the wedding live:

The History:
The actress and activist, who was previously married to producer Trevor Engelson for two years from 2011, is the first American to marry into the royal family since Wallis Simpson married the Duke of Windsor.
The bride's gown - which had previously been reported to cost £400,000 - is said to cost a lot less than that but no doubt the true price tag will be revealed this week.

To put that into perspective, Kate Middleton's iconic Alexander McQueen wedding dress (pictured above) cost £250k.

In 1981, Princess Diana wore a design by David and Elizabeth Emanuel (pictured above) valued then at £9,000.
Congratulations to the happy couple!
