Sitting next to the Queen of fashion - Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour - the UK's royal highness, Queen Elizabeth II, made a surprise guest appearance on the closing day of London Fashion Week.
For the first time in her 65-year reign, the Queen swapped her throne for the iconic front row at Richard Quinn’s fashion show in the BFC Show Space in central London.

According to The Royal Family's Twitter account, the young designer created a print studio which offers accessible services to students and peer groups of emerging designers which has earned him the inaugural Queen Elizabeth II Award for British Design.

The Queen presented the award to the designer herself, as the award was designed by her own personal advisor, Angela Kelly.
For the past two years Angela has been working on the award which aims to recognise emerging British fashion talent.

At 91-years-old, wearing a pale blue skirt suit and pearl earrings, it looks as though the Queen has no plans of slowing down.
