The 10 Most Fashionable Men of 2017

RTÉ Culture correspondent, big soul music fan
2017 promises to be an exciting year for fashion. Here's our selection of the ten most fashionable men to follow...
Michael Fassbender
This handsome actor is the pride and joy of Ireland. He was on the cover of GQ in 2013 and we think we know why. After the success of X:Men Apocalypse and Assassin's Creed last year, Fassbender continues to delight us on the red carpet in an array of designer suits while promoting his latest films, including Terence Malick's musical drama Song to Song.
Ryan Gosling
Ryan Gosling kicked off 2017 by starring in La La Land aka the year's most fashionable film. The American actor killed it on the red carpet during awards season and his effortless style has continued while promoting the aforementioned Song to Song alongside Michael Fassbender. No matter the red carpet, you know he'll look good.
Stormzy
After making a splash at the Brit Awards while performing Shape of You with Ed Sheeran, we can't stop talking about Stormzy and his brilliant new album Gang Signs & Prayer. This grime and hip-hop artist knows how to wear a suit and with festival season around the corner, we're bound to see more of his street style come to light.
Henry Cavill
Here's another GQ cover boy! We all know that actor Henry Cavill can pull off those primary colours since playing Superman in the Summer blockbuster Superman v Batman: Dawn of Justice alongside Ben Affleck. This year, he'll don the cape once again for Justice League but we're more excited to see what he'll wear off-camera! We bet this Brit is a Burberry man.
John Boyega
This Jedi has a bright year ahead of him. Not only is he starring in The Circle, alongside Emma Watson and Tom Hanks but he's currently on the set of new movie Pacific Rim: Uprising and will return in Star Wars: The Last Jedi later this year (yay!) So many red carpets, so little time. We bet his personal style will start to shine through in 2017.
Drake
Drake has been elected GQ's Best-Dressed man of the year. Last year, the Canadian rapper's hit Hotline Bling introduced us to some interesting dance moves, along with an oversized turtleneck trend. We can only imagine what 2017 will bring...
Robert Pattinson
Former vampire Robert Pattinson has been a little bit camera shy since his Twilight days but The Lost City Of Z hits cinemas any day now, and his IMDB page tells us he's set to star alongside Al Pacino in The Trap and Sylvester Stallone in Idol's Eye in 2017. Expect to see this Brit's pale pallor on a red carpet near you.
Conor McGregor
Ah, Conor. What can we say about the world's most confident man? Whether he's rocking custom-made three piece designer suits, Dita Mach-One sunglasses or Jimmy Choo dress slippers - the man's got style.
Idris Elba
Only the most stylish of actors can be rumored to be taking on the role of Bond so it makes perfect sense that Idris Elba's name was on everybody's lips to play 007. While he may not be joining his Majesty's Secret Service, Idris is on GQ's 50 best-dressed men of the year and 2017 will see him star alongside Matthew McConaughey in The Dark Tower. Here's hoping he catches on to McConaughey's shirtless ways.
Scott Eastwood
Son of the legendary Clint Eastwood, Scott came on to the scene while starring in his dad's film Gran Torino a few years back. Since then he has played in movies such as Fury and Suicide Squad. We think 2017 is this actor's year and we can't wait to see him rock the red carpet for his new movie The Fate of The Furious. Ready, set, go Scott!
