The people who brought you the Mother Tongues Festival have been friends with RTÉjr for a while now, helping to produce the Mothertongues podcast series.

So, it makes sense that we made a special podcast to mark the occasion.

In this episode we meet three families...

Godfred and Chris, a father and son who love to practice African dance together.

Adele and her mum Juliette talk about BD or French Comics as well as designing one on the spot.

And Yeli, Franklin Luke and Joe talk about Computer games in English, Spanish and Irish. Via the Dominican Republic!

The festival runs for a few more days and you can find out more about it here on RTÉ Learn - Click here!

Thanks so much to all the families who have taken part so far and to everyone at for helping connect the dots. They do amazing work and this is only a small addition to the help they give multilingual families across the country.
