Let's make some jungle art! Múinteoir John showed us how we can recycle household items and turn them into amazing art using simple techniques!

What you will need:
Empty toilet roll holders
Markers
Scissors - always have an adult around when you are using a scissors!
Glue or sellotape

In today's lesson, John also taught us about the tree in Australia called the Idiot Fruit Tree. It grows in the Daintree Forest in the Australian Rainforest and dates back over 100 million years!

Fortunately, you don’t have to go to Australia to discover new trees and plants. In fact, you can discover Irish flowers and plants that are just weeks’ old!

Spring is a great time to discover all the new flowers and plants that start growing. Next time you go for a walk in the park, see if how many plants and flowers you can tick off the list.

Have a look at the pictures and note which flowers you see on your walk!
