What's Next? is taking on the massive issue of waste in the world. Young Disruptors Tynan, Sophie, and Jack are ready for the challenge!
As always, our young inventors are paired with three celebrity researchers - social media star Adam Beales, actress Demi Isaac Oviawe, and comedian MC Fitzpatrick they are all competing to come up with a big idea that will impress judge Fionn Ferreira. Our celebs hit to road to meet experts and explore recycling, creative reuse, and waste reduction:
- Adam visits Space Sweeper Mehki, who is part of a team tackling space waste with cutting-edge solutions.
- MC meets Fry who is pioneering ways to recycle an unexpected material - hair from salon floors!
- Demi connects with waste warrior Giselle, who is on a mission to save unwanted fruits.

At the workshop, the teams transform their fresh insights to come up with groundbreaking ideas. They then present their original concepts to our judge, Irish inventor and entrepreneur Fionn Ferreira who will choose a winner.
The big pitch
- Demi and Sophie unveil Jammy Socks - An innovation that brings old clothes and tired food waste together to create wearable threads.
- Adam and Tynan introduce the F.R.O.G. (Foreign Remote Object Grappler) a spacecraft that cleans up space debris using a sticky tongue mechanism.
- MC and Jack present H & H Limited - A project that upcycles discarded sports gear into coveted collectibles and trophies.
Fionn evaluates the pitches based on his four criteria:
- Imagination
- Achievability
- Green creds
- And could it change the world?
Whose idea will be the standout? Which team will recycle its way to the grand final, to compete for the golden Brainbox and the chance to impress a millionaire investor?
