Massive congratulations to Solomon Eduard and Joshua Osabuehien from Cnoc Mhuire Secondary School Granard, County Longford who picked up the World Designer of the Year award at the first Junk Kouture World Final.
You can watch Sinéad Hussey's report from RTÉ News up top. The midlands students were competing against 60 other finalists from London, Paris, Milan, New York and Abu Dhabi.
The work entitled 'Back to the Future' by Joshua and Solomon (model) was a futuristic coat of armour against climate change made from an old laundry basket, car wipers, and an old shower mat.
And they were not the only Irish winners! The Innovation Award was presented to Team Bohemian Pampas Tree from Wilson's Hospital School, Westmeath by Clodagh Ramsey.

There were more amazing Irish entries who qualified from the Dublin City Final who showcased their incredible talent and vision.
