Dancing by Distance, a special performance work created for Cruinniú na nÓg by Dancd Ireland has been named as a finalist in the prestigious Prix Jeunesse Awards.

The international competition and celebration of young people's television sees the short film compete in the 11-15 Years Non-Fiction category. The event takes place from 10-15 June in Munich.
To celebrate Cruinniú na nÓg 2020, Dance Ireland produced the original film showcasing young dancers in Ireland.
Dancing by Distance features up to 25 dancers each of whom devised a dance solo across in different locations, styles and circumstances, capturing a unique moment in time.
