Paul Page of Whipping Boy and Dave Long of Into Paradise have collaborated as The Sentimental Tourists and released their self-titled debut four-track EP. We asked Paul the BIG questions . . .

Dave was lead singer with early 90s Dublin band Into Paradise, who released two acclaimed albums and a number of EPs and singles.

Paul played guitar with Dublin band Whipping Boy. They released three albums and two EPs, with second album, Heartworm, regularly cited by critics as one of the best Irish albums of all time.

Their new EP was recorded and mixed on a portable eight-track studio over a four-week period in the summer of 2025 and mastered by former Into Paradise guitarist and keyboardist Jimmy Eadie.

Dave and Paul describe the EP as "a labour of love, an attempt to recapture the excitement and purity of creating music for the sheer love of it."

Dave has been quietly releasing a series of solo albums and collaborations with ex-Blue In heaven frontman Shane O'Neill in recent years.

This is the first time Paul has recorded new music in 25 years.
