A compilation of the music of late Swedish DJ Avicii is to be released along with a new single.

Avicii Forever will be released on 16 May and will feature 19 tracks from the songwriter and producer, whose real name is Tim Bergling, including a new single - Let's Ride Away - which features Ex’s And Oh’s singer Elle King.

The new compilation will also feature some of the artist’s best-known songs including Hey Brother, Wake Me Up and Levels.

The new single featuring King is said to highlight "Avicii’s genre-defying sound, blending folk and electronic elements with powerful vocals."

In a trailer for the release, Avicii can be heard saying: "Timeless music, that’s what I’m trying to make."

Avicii rose to fame with the release of his 2011 single Levels, before going on to have hits with I Could Be The One with Nicky Romero and Wake Me Up.

He also received two Grammy nominations during his career and became the first DJ to headline New York’s Radio City Music Hall.

The new compilation comes after the posthumous release of Forever Yours - Tim’s 2016 Ibiza Version in February this year, and a posthumous album Tim, which was released in 2019.

Avicii died in April 2018 at the age of 28.
