Simon & Garfunkel Night, BBC Two
This tribute to Simon & Garfunkel begins with a solo show, Simply Simon, a Christmas TV special from 1975.
Here, Paul Simon performs a selection of hits from both the Simon & Garfunkel era and his solo career.
His on-off singing partner Art Garfunkel also puts in an appearance and there is backing from the Jessy Dixon Singers.
The high spot of the night comes at 9.15pm with Simon & Garfunkel: The Harmony Game.
It tells the story of Simon and Garfunkel's 1970 album Bridge Over Troubled Water, which was made during a particularly creative period in the duo's career, but turned out to be their final studio LP.
The now legendary Simon & Garfunkel: Concert in Central Park follows at 10.30pm - and then it's off to Hollywood at 11.55pm for a screening of The Graduate, a superb film from 1967 that's laced with Simon & Garfunkel tunes.

Bradley and Barney Walsh (above) host as four grand finalists who have tasted victory in the heats, battled in the quarters and survived the semis take on the Gladiators one last time.
Only five brutal events stand between them and the ultimate Eliminator, which will determine who will be crowned the Gladiators champion 2025.

Romesh Ranganathan asks general knowledge questions against the clock to contestants Keith Duffy, Rachel Riley, Amy Gledhill, Ching He Huang, Konan, Rory Bremner, Bonnie Langford and Chris Harris.
They’ll all be trying to avoid being voted off the team as they compete to win a potential prize pot of £50,000 for their chosen charity.

Martin Scorsese's epic and violent historical drama, starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Daniel Day-Lewis, Cameron Diaz and Liam Neeson.
DiCaprio stars as an Irishman in 19th-century New York who is taken under the wing of the ruthless gang leader (Day-Lewis) who killed his father 15 years before.
While he rises up through the ranks of power in the gang, he’s also plotting his revenge.
Meanwhile, the tension caused by the enforced drafting of the population into the army to fight in the Civil War explodes into bloodshed and riots.

Here’s a really good Irish crime drama, starring Tristan Heanue and Graham Earley.
A respected member of the Garda's loyalty to the law is tested by his ex-con brother, who is in desperate need of his help.

Animated comedy sequel, with the voices of Mike Myers, Cameron Diaz, Justin Timberlake, Eddie Murphy, Antonio Banderas and Rupert Everett.
The bad-tempered ogre finds himself in the unwelcome position of being next in line for the throne.
Preferring to stay at home in the swamps, he sets out on a quest to find the rightful heir - a rebellious teenager named Artie - and persuade him to face up to his responsibilities as the future king.
Meanwhile, the ambitious Prince Charming sees his chance to take the throne.

The Championship, 12.10pm, BBC Two
Mark Sidebottom presents all the action from the Ulster Senior Football Championship quarter-final at Corrigan Park, as Antrim take on the reigning All-Ireland champions, Armagh.
