The stars of The Sopranos celebrated the 25th anniversary of the show in New York City on Wednesday night.
The TV series, which is considered to be one of the best television dramas of all time, aired its first episode 25 years ago on Wednesday. It ran for six seasons from 1999 until 2007.
The network behind the show, HBO, held a special event to mark the milestone.

Also in attendance were notable cast members, including Lorraine Bracco, who played psychiatrist Jennifer Melfi, and Steve Schirripa, who played Bobby Baccalieri.

Steven Van Zandt, who played iconic character Silvio Dante, was also in attendance with his wife Maureen, who also played his wife in the show.
The actor is also well known as a musician and plays as part of Bruce Springsteen's E Street Band.

The series won many awards during its run, including 21 Primetime Emmy Awards and five Golden Globe Awards.
Several actors who portrayed characters in the show have died in recent years, including Tony Sirico, who played Paulie. The actor died in July 2022 aged 79.

As part of the anniversary, HBO's streaming platform Max has released footage of 15 deleted scenes on their app, including three scenes that have never been seen before.
