Barbie co-stars Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling are set to reunite in another big-budget spectacle - a prequel to the Ocean's 11 franchise - with a producer on the project saying the stars are "wonderful together".
The megastar duo, who helped propel Barbie to $1.4 billion (€1.32 billion) in worldwide ticket sales, are teaming up again for a prequel to the comedy heist movies.
The story for the prequel is expected to take place in 1960s Europe and not Las Vegas, where the Rat Pack-starring original 1960 film and the George Clooney and Brad Pitt-fronted trilogy of the early 2000s were based.
It will be the first Ocean's project since Cate Blanchett and Sandra Bullock starred in Ocean's 8 in 2018.

The movie is being produced by Robbie's production company LuckyChap Entertainment, with director Jay Roach and writer Carrie Solomon also attached to the project.
LuckyChap Entertainment executive and Ocean's 11 prequel producer Josey McNamara told GamesRadar of the film: "I can't really say much. But I think we’re just trying to do right by the franchise.
"I’m excited for people to experience it when it’s ready."
When asked about Robbie and Gosling's first post-Barbie reunion, McNamara said: "They're wonderful together.
"The more projects even outside of that we can have them do would be amazing."

McNamara co-founded LuckyChap Entertainment in 2014 alongside Robbie, Tom Ackerley and Sophia Kerr.
The company has produced films including the Margot Robbie-starring I, Tonya, director Emerald Fennell's feature debut Promising Young Woman and Barbie.
It next has Fennell's psychological thriller Saltburn, starring Irish actor Barry Keoghan, opening in cinemas in November.
