Don’t Miss

Why Buildings Collapse, 8.00pm, BBC One

Documentary examining the collapse of the Champlain Towers South apartment building in Miami in 2021, and looking at the implications for other buildings around the world.

The programme explores the factors that might have led to the collapse, and also looks to the future to ask what lessons can be learnt from this disaster.

Your Home Made Perfect, 8.00pm, BBC Two

I can’t wait to see Angela Scanlon (below) stepping out on Strictly, but in the meantime there’s this hi-tech interior design show.

The latest episode features Lou and Steve, who moved to Devon from London so their children, who are both deaf, could attend a specialist school.

When they first saw the house, it wasn't love at first sight, but they decided to buy it because of its beautiful location.

Now they have decided to fix the problems with their home, and there are many - from the imposing steps at the front, to the extensions causing a series of disconnected rooms.

Enter architects Damion Burrows and Lizzie Fraher, who come up with alternative VR solutions to the couple's property problems.

Ultimate Wedding Planner, 9.00pm, BBC Two

Fred Sirieix, Sara Davies and Raj Somaiya continue the search for someone skilled enough to launch their own wedding planning business.

Rivalries grow and tensions rise as the planners have three days to create a sustainable, farmyard festival wedding for one couple and their 94 animals - and it's the final straw for one fledgling planner.

New or Returning Shows

Henpocalypse! 10.00pm, BBC Two

Here’s a brand-mew comedy, starring Lucie Shorthouse, Elizabeth Berrington, Callie Cooke, Lauren O'Rourke and Kate O'Flynn.

Zara and her bridal party leave their Birmingham council estate for a messy hen do in an isolated Welsh cottage - only for their fun to be derailed by the end of the world.

With food running out and zero survival skills to call on, the hens are forced to break quarantine and venture into post-apocalyptic Snowdonia.

Paranormal: The Girl, The Ghost and the Gravestones, 9.00pm, BBC Three

Radio presenter Sian Eleri (below) investigates the paranormal activity at Penyffordd Farm in north Wales, the house being widely considered the most haunted house in Britain in the late 1990s.

She begins by meeting with specialist psychologist Dr Daniels who was called in by the family living on the farm at the time when they became desperate for answers for the strange activity in their home.

The doctor explains that of the many apparently paranormal cases of his career, this was the one that stayed with him and still perplexes him to this day

In episode two at 9.30pm, Sian Eleri meets the current owner of Penyffordd Farm who bought the property despite the stories of its haunting.

Emergency, 9.00pm, Channel 4

Season two of the documentary series following the London Major Trauma System.

An air ambulance, paramedics and fire crews are dispatched to 49-year-old Paiwand, a pedestrian trapped underneath a lorry in south London, and race against time to treat his crush injuries.

Thirteen-year-old Alicia has a large gaping wound on the back of her leg after crashing an electric scooter into a lamp post.

Ralph, an 84-year-old with a broken femur, faces complex surgery with a 50-50 chance of survival.

New to Stream

Cocaine Bear, Prime Video

Here’s that daft film everyone was talking about a few months ago.

It's a story inspired by the true story of a drug runner's plane crash, lost cocaine and the bear that ate it.

Review: Savage Yogi goes yoyo in Cocaine Bear

This wild comedy shows an apex predator on a rampage for blow - and blood.

Jared Freid: 37 and Single, Netflix

New York-based Jared Freid is the latest comic to get a Netflix stand-up comedy special.

In this performance, Jared, a self-proclaimed expert on single life, takes viewers on a wild ride through the ups and downs of navigating the modern dating world.

With an annoyed perspective, he tackles the frustrations of apps, awkward set-ups, and the constant reminders from friends who have moved into the next phase of life.

Jared explores the nuances of being single, growing up, gender reveal parties, and the inevitable break-ups that occur along the way.

He also sheds light on the joys and challenges of being 37 and still searching for that special someone.

Eye of the Storm, Netflix

This Korean movie is something to set the conspiracy theorists off again. As if they need prompting.

Whether the rest of us are ready for a tale about catastrophic outbreak is another matter.

A deadly virus outbreak puts a hospital in total lockdown, and various people trapped in the crisis must confront a deluge of agonizing choices.
