Check out the latest streaming releases for August

There are plenty of action-packed films, binge-worthy TV series and romcoms landing on Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV+ and NowTV this month. Plus lots to keep the kids entertained during the school holidays. Nicolette Lennox takes a look.

Fisk, August 1, Netflix

Remember Ally McBeal, Suits or The Good Wife? This is not like those. This is a comedy based on the working life of a small legal practice. Fisk was fired from her big corporate law practice, breaks up with her husband and decides to work in a firm in Melbourne, where one of the partners has been struck off, where she does not need to provide a reference and will only deal with dead people's wills....

Only Murders In The Buildings (Season 3), August 8, Disney+
Season 3 finds Charles, Oliver & Mabel (played by Steve Martin, Martin Short & Selena Gomez) investigating a murder behind the scenes of a Broadway show.
