Aftersun star Paul Mescal is the first guest to be announced for Friday night's Late Late Show on RTÉ One and the RTÉ Player.
Host Ryan Tubridy shared the news on his RTÉ Radio 1 show on Monday morning.
Oscar nominee Mescal was among the Irish BAFTA contenders in London on Sunday night. The Maynooth man is already a BAFTA winner for his breakthrough performance in Normal People.
It will be his first in-person appearance in the Late Late studio. He previously appeared via Zoom during the pandemic.
Tubridy joked that he will look Mescal in the eye and tell him: "Stop being so good at everything - it makes all of us feel very inadequate!"
