Kieran McGuinness of Delorentos and Emily Aylmer of Republic of Loose have returned with their second single, Sunlight. Watch the video here.
Kieran (guitar, vocals, synthesiser) and Emily (vocals, keyboards) have been working quietly on a collaborative musical venture for a few years now and released their first song, Trying, last April.
With influences including Neil Young, Beach House, Cat Power, Scandinavian TV shows and fireside beers, Sunlight, which is released by industrious Cork label FIFA Records, was the first song that the duo ever performed live.
The duo say the track is a "classic, cautionary tale of how easy it is to lose one's way in life while reminding that, if you hang on to hope, it’s never too late to rediscover the right path".
