Watch our interview with Danny Boyle and Richard Curtis

Here's a magical mystery tour de farce from Richard Curtis and Danny Boyle - the Lennon and McCartney of Brit flicks. Like an acid trip transported from 1968 and deposited in in the 21st century, Yesterday is a whimsical alternate universe comedy fantasy that asks the ultimate music `what if . . . ?' question - what if The Beatles never existed? When a failed musician (Himesh Patel) wakes up after being hit by a bus, he realises he is the only person in the world who remembers the Fab Four. Alan Corr Read our full review.

It’ll be Alright on the Night, 9.00pm, Virgin Media One

This blooper show’s been on the go since the 1970s, when the late Dennis Norden used to host.

Griff Rhys Jones took over as presenter from 2008 until 2016, while in recent years it’s been narrated by David Walliams (below).

This time around, Walliams returns with more TV disasters featuring some of the world's most famous faces in less than flattering situations.

They include Joanna Lumley nearly falling off a ship, the Good Morning Britain studio being invaded by ants, and Katy Perry interrupted by a fire alarm.

Plus, there are TV nightmares for the cast and crew of Love Island (rich pickings there I’d reckon), Coronation Street, Catchphrase, and I'm A Celebrity.

Kitz, Netflix

If you enjoyed the likes of Succession and The White Lotus, this German drama could suit you too, though it's more the Gossip Girl end of the satirical spectrum.

Seeking revenge on the girl she blames for her brother's death, a 19-year-old waitress infiltrates the glitzy world of a group of wealthy teens from Munich.

It’s set in Kitzbuhel (hence the show’s title), which is pretty much the Aspen of the Alps.

The trailer lacks English subtitles, but you'll get the (snow) drift.

Judy, 9.00pm, BBC Two

This film’s worth watching just for Renee Zellweger, who puts in a career-defining and Oscar-winning performance as the eponymous Judy Garland.

With her life on and off-stage in jeopardy, Garland is embroiled in a tug-of-war with husband Sidney Luft for custody of their children, Lorna and Joey.

Crippled by debt, the showbiz legend reluctantly agrees to a run of shows in London, where her fanbase has remained loyal.

Unfortunately, her fiance Mickey Deans continually distracts her when she should be rehearsing.
