Gripping prison drama Time continues, the mystery deepens on The Girls Before, and there's a quirky Irish coming of age movie with a difference - here are your telly picks for tonight . . .
Time, RTÉ One, 10.10pm
One of the most acclaimed series of the year continues tonight as Mark (Sean Bean) suffers a tragic personal loss and is given the chance to leave prison for a day, while Eric (Stephen Graham) is forced to take greater risks to protect his family. Game of Thrones' Bean and Line of Duty's Graham excel in this taut and unnerving drama from Cracker writer Jimmy McGovern, which premiered on BBC One during the summer. Time also stars Siobhan Finneran, Sue Johnston, Hannah Walters, David Calder, Nadine Marshall, Michael Socha, Aneurin Barnard, Jack McMullen and James Nelson-Joyce.
Landscapers, Sky Atlantic/NOW TV, 9.00pm
Sneaking in at year's end, this is proving to be one of the best TV dramas for quite a while. A true crime miniseries, Landscapers is a black comedy drama revolving around the true story of the 1998 murders of Nottinghamshire residents William and Patricia Wycherley. In tonight’s episodes, as they narrow in on the likeliest scenarios from that tragic night, Lancing and Wilkie’s focus shifts to Christopher’s past. While they exploit his recurring tendency to go too far for those he loves, the couple’s relationship with Susan’s parents comes under the spotlight. Lancing and Wilkie have a breakthrough which calls the couple’s shared reality into question.
The Girl Before, BBC One, 9.00pm

The penultimate part of this new mystery drama sees a shocking personal discovery forcing Jane (Gugu Mbatha-Raw) resolve to find out exactly what Edward (David Oyelowo) knows about Emma's (Jessica Plummer) story. Is his refusal to talk about his past simply reticence or something more sinister? Meanwhile, Emma’s world continues to collapse as the police comb through the story of her assault.
