The first teaser trailer for the new Downton Abbey film, Downton Abbey: A New Era, has been released - and Maggie Smith's Violet, Dowager Countess of Grantham is at the centre of the drama once again.
In the teaser, Violet has a bit of news for the rest of the Crawley family.
Releasing the trailer for the follow-up to the 2019 box office hit, film studio Universal Pictures said: "The original principal cast of Downton Abbey will all once again return for the second film.
"In addition to the original cast, Hugh Dancy, Laura Haddock, Nathalie Baye, Dominic West, and Jonathan Zaccaï will join the cast."
Downton Abbey: A New Era opens in cinemas on 18 March 2022.
