English trio The Staves have rescheduled their upcoming run of Irish shows to March 2022 with gigs in Dublin, Limerick, Galway, Belfast, and Cork, with all purchased tickets valid for the new dates.

They now play Limerick, Dolan's on March 23, Dublin, Helix (previously scheduled for Vicar Street) on March 24, Belfast, Empire on March 25, Galway, Black Box on March 26, and Cork, Cyprus Avenue on March 28.

Tickets are available from Singular Artists.

The band, which is made up of sisters Camilla, Jessica, and Emily Staveley-Taylor, released their acclaimed album Good Woman earlier this year.

The album was born out of several major upheavals in their lives, with the death of their grandmother in the summer of 2018, and two weeks later, the loss of their mother, and then in 2019, as if to complete the circuit of life, the arrival of Emily’s first born.

Speaking to RTÉ Entertainment earlier this year, they said, "This whole process of grieving, the death of anyone but particularly a parent is such a hard thing to go through."

"There definitely were tears," they added. "It's those moments where I realise that we do have each other.

"This whole process of grieving, the death of anyone but particularly a parent is such a hard thing to go through and normally we would have other people around who weren’t going through it and they could pick up the slack but, in our case, it was just three of us."
