Liam Neeson will be back on screens early in the New Year in his latest action-thriller, Blacklight.
Entertainment trade publication Deadline.com reports that Blacklight is due for release in the US on 11 February, 2022. An Irish release date has yet to be announced.
In Blacklight, Neeson plays Travis Block, described by Deadline as "a troubled, off-the-books fixer for the FBI who is tasked with pulling undercover agents out of dangerous situations".

"He finds himself in the middle of a deadly conspiracy when one such agent questions the very people he is working for," it adds.
The cast of Blacklight also includes Aidan Quinn (Elementary), Emmy Raver-Lampman (The Umbrella Academy) and Taylor John Smith (Sharp Objects).
The film reunites Neeson with director Mark Williams, who previously directed him in Honest Thief.
Neeson was most recently seen in Amazon's action-adventure The Ice Road.
