Nicole Kidman has begun filming on Roar, the Apple TV+ anthology series based on the Cecelia Ahern short story collection of the same name.
Filming on the eight-part series is taking place in Sydney, Australia. Sporting a pixie hairstyle, Kidman shared a photo from the set on Thursday, writing "#Roar #FemaleFilmmakers".
The Oscar winner and author Ahern are among the executive producers on the show. The cast also includes Alison Brie (Mad Men), Cynthia Erivo (Widows) and Merritt Wever (Nurse Jackie). Each episode is told from a different female point of view.
Roar has been in the works since Ahern's book was first published in 2018. A broadcast date has yet to be announced.
