Game of Thrones prequel House of the Dragon has halted filming after a member of the production crew tested positive for Covid-19 on the set in the UK.
Deadline reports that the person is now in isolation and following film industry pandemic guidelines.
Close contacts will also be required to quarantine, but filming is expected to resume as soon as this Wednesday.

Production of Netflix film Matilda and the second season of Bridgerton were also halted recently after positive cases.
The news comes as England lifts social distancing restrictions as positive Covid cases in the UK soar to up to 50,000 a day.

House of the Dragon, which stars Matt Smith, Emma D'Arcy, Paddy Considine, Fabien Frankel, Olivia Cooke, Rhys Ifans, Eve Best, Steve Toussaint and Sonoya Mizuno, is set 300 years before the events of Game of Thrones and follows the story of House Targaryen.
Two animated GoT spin-offs are reported to be in development, one of which will be set in the Golden Empire of Yi Ti.
