Frozen star Idina Menzel and Westworld actor James Marsden have landed in Ireland as the epic production of the Disney sequel Disenchanted continues apace.

Director Adam Shankman revealed the news on his Instagram page, posting a photo of him with the two actors and writing: "Found my #potsofgold In Dublin. Edward and Nancy.

Marsden shared the same photo on his Instagram story and wrote: "From Ireland, With Love".

He also added a shamrock and love hearts to the post.

Shankman gave fans an insight into what it was like filming in Ireland on his Instagram story when he posted a selfie of himself wearing a furry-hooded parka, scarf and jumper and wrote: "Night shooting in July never looked so good."

The sequel to 2007's Enchanted, Disenchanted has been filming in the picturesque villages of Eniskerry and Greystones in Co Wicklow.

Leading stars Amy Adams and Patrick Dempsey have been in Ireland for the past few months, with former Grey's Anatomy actor Dempsey sharing many of his adventures on Instagram.

His most recent post was a selfie in a field which he captioned simply: "morning walk".

The actor has been busy making the most of his time here during breaks from shooting. He recently revealed that he rowed over to Dalkey Island to explore the ancient ruins.

Bridesmaids star Maya Rudolph has also been enjoying exploring Ireland during her downtime from filming the Disney movie.

She visited a restaurant in Dublin's city centre where she left staff a sweet note, and took a sightseeing trip around Howth on Ireland's Eye Ferries with her family.
