Actress Maya Rudolph has been enjoying the sites in Dublin during her downtime from filming the Disney movie Disenchanted.

The Bridesmaids star, who is filming the sequel to Enchanted alongside Patrick Dempsey and Amy Adams in Enniskerry, has been making the most of her time in Ireland.

The 48-year-old visited the restaurant Juanitos on Drury Street for a meal and left a sweet note for the staff who served her.

She wrote: "Reka - what a pleasure to meet you! Tell Luca and Lauren I said hi!

"Love, Maya Rudolph (from Wine Country)."

The restaurant shared a snap of the note on Instagram and said: "It was an honour to meet Maya Rudolph in Juanitos Drury Street today! She is an amazing actress, love her movies!

"Maya Rudolph, thank you for your autograph and thank you for dining with us."

Rudolph and her family also took a sightseeing trip around Howth on Ireland's Eye Ferries.

The company shared a photo of her on Instagram and wrote: "We welcomed actor Maya Rudolph and her family on board today as she took a break from filming Disney's Disenchanted.

"They really enjoyed the scenery Howth has to offer. @visitdublin @visit.howth #disenchanted."

Disenchanted is currently being filmed in Enniskerry where the Wicklow town has been transformed into a magical set.

It is not the only Hollywood project currently shooting in Ireland. Chris Pine and Michelle Rodriguez have also been shooting Dungeons & Dragons in Carrickfergus, in Co Antrim.

Meanwhile, Hollywood actress and director Elizabeth Banks recently revealed she has moved her whole family to Ireland to shoot her next project, the movie Cocaine Bear.
