Hollywood star Elizabeth Banks has moved to Ireland along with her family to shoot her new movie and seems to be enjoying her time here immensely.

The American actor and director took to Twitter to post a 30-second clip in which she informed her followers about her change of location and gave fans a glimpse of her life.

"So I moved my whole family to Ireland", she said in the video. "I'm making a movie here, Cocaine Bear. It's set in Georgia, but hey, Ireland."

The clip shows Banks posing with a Tricolour and then cuts to her driving on the "wrong side" of the road.

The Hollywood star also shares her trip to a local beach along the shore of Dublin Bay with her two sons. Banks also reveals that she discovered a new snack - cheese and onion Taytos.

She ends the clip with a visit to the Mitchell & Son wine shop in Glasthule.

On Tuesday, when temperatures reached a high of 22 degrees, Banks also posted a picture of herself wearing a green coat and hoodie, writing in the caption on Instagram: "#ireland (this is my hot girl summer outfit).

Filming on Cocaine Bear is due to start in August. It is the latest in a string of Hollywood movies shooting in Ireland, with Amy Adams and Patrick Dempsey currently filming Disenchanted in Enniskerry, Co Wicklow, while Chris Pine and Michelle Rodriguez have been shooting Dungeons & Dragons in Carrickfergus, in Co Antrim.
