A special reunion episode sees the six leading cast members, Jennifer Aniston (Rachel), Courteney Cox (Monica), Lisa Kudrow (Phoebe), Matt LeBlanc (Joey), Matthew Perry (Chandler) and David Schwimmer (Ross), head back to the show's original set for a trip down memory lane.

The special blend of magic and on-screen chemistry this group of actors generates has not diminished since the show first aired back in 1994.

Viewers took to Twitter to express how the reunion has hit them "right in the feels".

Emotions were clearly running high as fans watched the original cast members go through table reads and reminisce on special moments.

The bloopers were another high point.
