Irish band Pillow Queens have signed a publishing deal with Sub Pop, the legendary Seattle record label which was once home to Nirvana and whose current roster includes Fleet Foxes and Beach House.
The quartet from Dublin, Wicklow and Kildare released their acclaimed album In Waiting last year.
The band announced the move to the label on social media, saying: "Very excited to announce that we have just signed a deal with Sub Pop Publishing.
"We’re over the moon that our album is getting recognition we couldn’t have even dreamed of when we decided to self release during a pandemic but we’re really feeling the love. thank you!" they added.
The music publishers responded to the post, saying: "Welcome Pillow Queens!"

The band members, Pamela Connolly, Sarah Corcoran, Rachel Lyons and Cathy McGuinness, recently performed their song Liffey for The Late Late Show with James Corden.
