2FM presenter Lottie Ryan has announced that she and husband Fabio Aprile are expecting their first child.
The broadcaster shared the couple's happy news on Instagram, posting a picture of a babygrow with the inscription: "I guess quarantine wasn't that boring after all. #comingsoon."
She captioned the photo: "Surprise!!!"
The couple married in May 2017.
Speaking on 2FM’s Jennifer Zamparelli Show, Ryan said she found out a couple of weeks before Christmas and told their families on Christmas Day.
Ryan said:"It was before Christmas that we found out, couple of weeks before, we told our families on Christmas Day which was just absolutely amazing, I think my mother nearly fainted, god bless her, as she thought there was no hope for me. It was just absolutely amazing."
The radio reporter said: "I’m due in August, so I am a good four months in now."
