It’s a Sin, 9.00pm, Channel 4

It’s taking a lot of self-restraint, but I’m sticking to watching this super drama on a week-by-week basis. It’s such a treat - so I treat it as such.

We’re now up to March 1986, and Diana Ross is in the middle of a Chain Reaction. Meanwhile, the Pink Palace flatmates start to find their place in the world.

Ramy, 11.05pm, Channel 4

Emmy-nominated US comedy drama about Ramy, who is a first-generation Egyptian American on a spiritual journey in his politically divided New Jersey neighbourhood.

He brings a new perspective to the challenges of what it's like being caught between a Muslim community that thinks life is a moral test, and a millennial generation that thinks life has no consequences.

In the first episode, Ramy is challenged over his sloppy approach to toe-washing before prayer.

The first five episodes will be available to stream or download for free on All 4 from today, to coincide with the transmission of the first episode.
