Liam Neeson surprised nursing staff at an Australian hospital with a flower arrangement and a note to thank frontline staff.
The note from the 68-year-old Michael Collins star read: "To all you lovely Aussie and Irish nurses. Thinking of you all. Much love and respect, Liam Neeson."
In a post thanking the Irish actor on the hospital's Facebook page the nurses at the Royal Melbourne Hospital made reference to Neeson's 2008 film Taken. They wrote: "I will find you...and I will...treat you.
"Liam Neeson is filming a movie in Melbourne and was kind enough to send in some flowers to our Acute Medical Unit, which was a COVID-19 ward this year. Thanks Liam, from all of us starstruck at RMH!'
Neeson has been filming the action film Backlight in the suburbs of Melbourne since early November.
