It’s already been mauled for its "interesting" Irish accents and now comes news that a new song by Sinéad O’Connor will feature in new film Wild Mountain Thyme, which was shot in Co Mayo.
The film’s director, Patrick Shanley, revealed that O’Connor would feature on the soundtrack, adding, "I have been thrilled by a turn of events which is that Amelia Warner and I wrote a song for Wild Mountain Thyme that Sinead O'Connor decided to record.

"It’s in the final credit roll of the film and it’s quite beautiful.
"So, I didn’t see that coming but I’ve always been a big admirer of Sinead, it’s really nice to have her lend her voice to the effort that we made with Wild Mountain Thyme."
According to reports, the song is titled I’ll Be Singing, and it will play over the end credits of the movie, which stars Jamie Dornan, Emily Blunt and Christopher Walken.
The film, based on the Shanley’s play Outside Mullingar, which was staged on Broadway in 2014, has come into mostly good-humoured ribbing after the trailer was released last week, with even Co. Down man’s Dornan’s accent coming in for a slagging.
