Indie-grunge trio HAVVK have released their new EP, Plans with Friends - a series of alternative versions of their songs which now feature guest artists from Ireland. We asked singer and bassist Julie Hawk the BIG questions . . .
The five-track EP features reworkings of tracks from HAVVK's 2019 debut album Cause & Effect, and sees guest vocalists Jess Kav, Participant, Arvo Party and Maria Kelly all give the songs their own distinctive treatment.
"It was already really special to us to have other artists interpret our music. But it definitely takes on a whole new meaning to have collaborated during a time when the music community is under so much strain," says Julie.
