Singer Cliona Hagan has told Today's Sinéad Kennedy and Dáithí Ó Sé that her "poor mummy and daddy" can't get rid of her as she waits out her return to the stage and the end of the Covid-19 emergency.
Hagan and guitarist Simon Sheerin joined Today live from Co Tyrone on Monday.
As part of their Live from Your Place set on the RTÉ One show, they performed covers of Country Roads, Jolene and Still the One, and Hagan's own track Thank You, Mother.
When asked about
how she was getting on at home, Hagan replied: "Poor mummy and daddy can't get rid of me! My mum and dad are like my best friends. They're young parents as well, so we've got such a great relationship.""It's scary times; my heart really goes out to all the frontliners out there," she continued.
"To be honest, we're just trying to keep really positive and upbeat. We're singing every Sunday, doing our Facebook Lives, and that's really helping us through. As musicians, we're really missing being onstage and, of course, seeing everybody and getting to do what we love best."
