Ex-Eastenders star Rita Simons, who played Roxy Mitchell on the BBC soap, and Theo, her husband of 14 years, are to divorce after being separated for nearly two years.
The Daily Star newspaper says that the pair have twin teenage daughters together and are said to have remained on good terms.
Simons was on EastEnders for ten years from 2007 to 2017 playing Roxy, who was married twice, engaged a number of times, had a daughter, inherited a large sum of money but died tragically in a swimming pool.
There were rumours of a comeback in 2019 when a phone message of her voice was played on the show.
