Britain's Got Talent live shows are expected to return at the end of the year.
Showrunners had initially hoped that the final would air during the summer, but due to Covid-19 restrictions still in place, that won’t be possible.
"With measures still in place and lockdown only just starting to be released the plan is now for BGT lives to return at the end of the year," the Daily Star quote a source as saying.
"With The X Factor on ice for 2020 there is a Syco-shaped hole in ITV's schedule so this would fit perfectly."
Discussions are said to be continuing about how the live finals will be carried out.
The pre-recorded auditions have already aired on ITV.
