Former Coronation Street star Kym Marsh is to co-host a new consumer rights programme for the BBC called One Day Live, which will focus on the Covid-19 emergency.
The Press Association says the weekday show begins on BBC One on Monday, June 15 and sees Marsh co-presenting alongside Matt Allwright. The topics covered will include health, employment and holidays.
"The last couple of months of lockdown has [sic] presented challenges for families across the country, often unsure of where to turn for advice," Marsh said.
"I'm looking forward to starting this new series with Matt, to help tackle some of the problems people are facing, reassuring viewers with top tips and advice from some of the nation's leading consumer experts."
Marsh, who played Michelle Connor in Coronation Street for 13 years, left the ITV soap in January to "explore other roles".
