It is reported that Coronation Street star Alison King and her fiancé David Stuckey have been forced to postpone their planned wedding in Greece due to Covid-19 travel restrictions.
The Sun reports that King, who plays Carla Connor on the ITV soap, had been due to marry Stuckey "in an intimate ceremony in Greece next week".
A source told the tabloid: "Alison and her future hubby were hoping there was some way they could make the wedding work despite all the restrictions.
"But in the end they ran out of options."
"They hoped lockdown might lift enough to let them tie the knot, but it proved too much of a logistical nightmare."
The source noted that: "The irony of it being like a Corrie plotline isn't lost on them."
"They are trying to remain philosophical about the whole thing," they added.
Coronation Street airs on Virgin Media One and ITV on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
