Ronan Keating has revealed that he and his wife Storm are expecting a baby girl in a matter of weeks.

The couple, who announced that they were expecting their second child together last November, are already parents to two-year-old son Cooper, while the Dublin star is also father to Jack, 20, Missy, 18, and Ali, 14, from his first marriage to Yvonne Connolly.

Speaking on Good Morning Britain on Monday, the Boyzone singer shared the gender of his and Storm's second baby, saying: "We're having a little girl. This will be number five.

"We have a name but we're keeping that under wraps for a while. She’s six or seven weeks away.

"There’s a lot of excitement in the Keating household. All the kids are excited."

The 42-year-old singer also praised his wife and said he should be prepared for the newborn since he is already up early most mornings for his job on the morning radio show Magic Breakfast.

He added: "Storm is in fantastic shape. Good times. I’m up early most mornings for radio so I should be alright."
