After upturning expectations by triumphing over Derry Girls and Fleabag at the recent National Television Awards in Britain, Agnes Brown is set for another scoop - Caitlyn Jenner will appear on an upcoming episode of Mrs. Brown's Boys.
The retired Olympic gold medal-winning decathlete kick-started rumours of her appearance after she shared a picture from the set of the show on her Instagram account on Tuesday night but it's unclear whether it’s from Brendan O’Carroll’s hit sitcom or his BBC chat show, All Round to Mrs Brown’s.
in the picture, Jenner (70) can be seen sitting at Mrs Brown's kitchen table, glancing through a copy of local newspaper The Northside People. She wrote, "so much fun shooting this funny comedy in Scotland! Mrs Browns Boys!"
Last week, the sitcom, which is hated by critics and adored by the viewing public, beat critical darlings Derry Girls, Fleabag, Sex Education and After Life to take the award for Best Comedy at the NTAs and Jenner may have shot her cameo when she was in Britain for the awards ceremony.
Jenner was in attendance to present the Challenge Award to The Great British Bake Off on the night and also appeared alongside her I'm A Celebrity co-stars to accept the Bruce Forsyth Entertainment Award.
