The Cillian Murphy-starring Peaky Blinders and Brendan O'Carroll's Mrs Brown's Boys were among the winners at the UK's National Television Awards at London's O2 Arena on Tuesday night.
BBC crime series Peaky Blinders was named Best Drama, with star Murphy winning Best Drama Performance at the awards, which are voted for by the public.

The Drama Performance award was accepted on Murphy's behalf by his Peaky Blinders co-stars Sophie Rundle and Harry Kirton.
In a pre-recorded message, Murphy said he was "very honoured and very humbled" to win. He said the award confirmed to him that Peaky Blinders fans "are the best in the world".
"So loyal, so imaginative... and so good at voting!" he smiled.
Mrs Brown's Boys creator and star O'Carroll was joined onstage by his family and co-stars to accept the Best Comedy award. Mrs Brown's Boys saw off the challenge of Derry Girls, Fleabag, After Life and Sex Education to win the award.
There were also wins for Strictly Come Dancing (Best Talent Show), Emmerdale (Best Serial Drama) and This Morning (Best Live Magazine Show).
For the 19th year in a row, Ant & Dec won the Best TV Presenter award and also accepted the Bruce Forsyth Entertainment Award for their show I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!.

"Anyone who knows or has worked with Terry will have been infected with his infectious and extraordinary enthusiasm," he told the audience.
"Terry always worked to get something right. He had a certain skill in being very ruthless but also charming at the same time."
Opening the show, host David Walliams quipped: "Tonight we celebrate all the time and money that has gone into Simon Cowell's new face."
