TV presenter Caroline Flack has been arrested and charged with assault, following an incident with a man.
The 40-year-old Love Island presenter was arrested early Friday morning, following the incident on December 12.
A Metropolitan Police spokeswoman in London confirmed that Flack will appear on bail at Highbury Corner Magistrates' Court on Monday December 23.
"Caroline Flack of Islington was charged on Friday, 13 December with assault by beating.
"She will appear on bail at Highbury Corner Magistrates' Court on Monday, 23 December. This follows an incident at approximately 05:25hrs on Thursday, 12 December after reports of a man assaulted."
"He was not seriously injured."
A spokesman for Flack told the Press Association in a statement: "We confirm that police attended Caroline's home following a private domestic incident."
"She is co-operating with the appropriate people to resolve matters. We will not be making any further comment for legal reasons."
Flack has been dating Lewis Burton since earlier this year, after being introduced by mutual friends, and made their relationship official in August.
The arrest comes just days before the presenter was due to fly out to South Africa for the upcoming winter Love Island series, which is kicking off on 8 January, 2020.
