Mel B has saidd that she feels 'unbearable pain' not knowing when she will see her eight-year old daughter Madison.

Last month, the singer and her former husband Stephen Belafonte reached an agreement about custody arrangements over the child. Mel B divorced Belafonte in August 2018. He lives in LA while Mel returned to live in the UK earlier this year, following 15 years living abroad.

Mel shared her feelings on Instagram, recalling recent days spent with her daughter. "This time last week I walked around winter wonderland with my 3 kids having the best Xmas fun ever, my youngest Madison with me for 7 amazing days.

"She wrote me this (note) on the plane going back to LA, as I read this over and over again the pain I feel is unbearable, I don't no when me or her sisters are gonna see her again.(sic)."

The note from Madison reads. "Dear Mammy, You are the most loving and the most beautiful and the most funiest(sic) mommy anyone could ever ask for. I love you and I miss you very very much, love, maddy."

Mel B was also in the news recently over a Tesco ad which employed her image for the supermarket's Clubcard Plus. The image was taken down after the Spice Girl complained. Back in May, Mel B herself reacted to complaints about the sound quality at the Spice Girls Dublin concert at Croke Park.

Mel B's memoir Brutally Honest was published in November of last year. The book explored the split from film producer Belafonte. He had been the singer's second husband, they married in 2007.

"In the past 20 something years of my life, I have made more than £80 million," she revealed. "When I met my second husband (Stephen), I had a house and a loft apartment in LA and a good career. When I left him I walked away with 936 dollars (£729) in a bank."
