Guitar ace Johnny Marr and Dublin singer Dermot Kennedy are among the headline acts for Saltwater, a new music festival due to take place next June Bank Holiday weekend in Westport.

Westport House in Mayo will host the weekender, which will feature 60 acts playing across three stages from May 29 to 31, with Cork artist Lyra, The Stranglers and Maverick Sabre also among the first announcements.

Lee Scratch Perry, Jerry Fish, Norman Jay, Joanne Keegan and Coda have also been announced with many more names to be added to the bill over the coming months.

Day and Weekend tickets go on sale from Ticketmaster outlets nationwide and on www.ticketmaster.ie on Friday, December 13 at 9.00am. Early Bird Tickets are priced from €144 with three days with camping options also available. There are also limited single day tickets available from €64.00.
